Mission
To promote digital inclusion and close the digital divide
We offer internet-enabled devices to those in need at no charge. We believe everyone deserves the chance to succeed in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Our aim is to foster more digitally inclusive society by ensuring access to technology for all.
Our Story
TEK Collaborative began in 2020 as a grassroots response to the COVID-19 pandemic when our founder, Jeff Williams, noticed that many of his daughter's classmates and their families lacked the basic technology needed for remote learning. After donating laptops and launching a GoFundMe that raised over $12,000, he distributed over 800 devices to those in need. In 2022, with support from the Essex County Community Foundation, he transformed his initiative into a sustainable 501(c)(3) organization. Based in Amesbury, we have since provided over 10,000 devices to bridge the digital divide.
